The proximity to the beach and various popular Cape May activities was great.
The staff was lacking in customer service. From the front desk person who didn't take his eyes off something on the desk in front of him instead of looking at customers and being friendly. I didn't realize he was there to check people in since he never indicated such, seemed too busy with something on the desk. The valets who twice during my stay asked(I.E. Told me), "you don't need help with your bags do you?". I also had a problem with staff using the same 2 elevators guests use. Good luck to you if you were waiting for the elevator behind staff pushing one of their huge carts. Also, the "Ocean View" was a joke. I plan on posting pics and a review on another site. It was obstructed by a window a/c and a roof below, not at all worth the money!
Beautiful accommodations in the heart of historic Cape May. Very romantic. Great ocean views. Wonderful food/service
Wedding held 2 floors down very load and readily heard. Nice violin music though
not a lot of traffic in the wintr time---bet that it jumps in the summer
Wonderful, friendly, accomodating staff. Great location. Comfortable beds and pillows.
The room could have been vacummed better along the edges. (Found a soda cap and candy wrappers around the edges of the room.)
I love the location and it's historic ambiance. Best in Cape May.
Pool and beach access and accomodations were great
Not a lot of value for price other than location. Room was small with full size bed that we did not think we booked. First days we received bottled water in the room which was a nice touch then last few days we did not. No coffee maker in room.
very friendly helpful staff
paper cups in coffee shop,no comfy chairs in room
Location is excellent and the breakfast in the Blue Pig Tavern was really good. Everything looked great and the Boiler Room Friday night was a blast! It's so good to see Congress Hall the focus of social life in Cape May again.
